How much does exterior house painting cost in Toronto?

As a guide, exterior house painting typically starts at $4,500 for semi-detached, though every project is priced individually. We give you a firm written quote — usually within 24 hours — after you send a few photos and details through our online form, so there are no surprises.

How long does exterior house painting take?

Most exterior house painting projects take 3–7 days depending on size. We give you a realistic timeline with your quote and stick to it, working cleanly and finishing when we said we would.

What paint brands and products do you use?

We work exclusively with premium Benjamin Moore, Sherwin-Williams, and Behr Premium products — never contractor-grade paints that fade or scuff within a year. We match the exact product to the surface and how the space is used.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. Our workmanship is backed by a two-year written warranty, on top of the manufacturer warranty on the paint itself. If something isn't right, we come back and make it right.

Do you need to visit before quoting?

For most jobs, no. Submit photos and a few details online and Reza will send an accurate written estimate — no site visit required. We only book an in-person look for unusual or large-scale projects.

Toronto weather is brutal on exterior paint. The freeze-thaw cycle, the humidity, and the UV exposure all conspire to peel and fade a poor exterior finish within a few years. A professional repaint using the right products adds years of protection.

Prep is everything on an exterior. We pressure-wash, scrape loose paint, caulk all gaps and joints, spot-prime bare wood, and sand rough transitions. Skipping prep is how you end up with a paint job that looks great for six months and starts peeling by year two.

We use Sherwin-Williams Emerald Exterior or Benjamin Moore Aura Exterior — the best two exterior products on the market. Applied correctly over proper prep, they carry manufacturer warranties of up to 15 years.

Our process

1
Pressure wash & inspect
The whole exterior is washed to strip dirt, chalk, and mildew, then inspected for failing paint, rot, and gaps that need attention.
2
Scrape, sand & repair
Loose and peeling paint is scraped and sanded, and damaged wood or masonry is repaired so the finish has a sound surface to grip.
3
Caulk & prime
Every gap and joint is caulked with exterior-grade sealant, and bare spots are spot-primed to lock out moisture — the freeze-thaw enemy of Ontario paint.
4
Two finish coats
We apply two full coats of premium exterior paint built for our climate, carrying manufacturer warranties of up to 15 years when applied over proper prep.
5
Final inspection & clean-up
We do a full walkaround with you, touch up anything flagged, and leave the property spotless — no debris, no paint chips in the garden.
