Kitchen Cabinet Painting
A high-end cabinet finish at a fraction of the cost of replacement — done right with the right products.
New kitchen cabinets can cost $20,000 to $50,000. Professionally painted cabinets look just as good for a fraction of the price — and the transformation is genuinely dramatic. We're one of the few Toronto painters who takes cabinet work seriously enough to do it properly.
The process is what separates a lasting finish from one that chips in six months. We remove every door and drawer, clean off grease and cooking residue, sand lightly, prime, and apply two finish coats. Doors are painted flat — not hanging — so there are no drips or runs. Hardware comes off and goes back on carefully.
We use Benjamin Moore Advance or Sherwin-Williams Emerald Urethane: alkyd-hybrid paints purpose-built for cabinetry. They dry hard, resist chips, and hold up to daily kitchen use. The result is smooth, factory-like finishes.
