Trim & Baseboard Painting

Trim and baseboards are the frame around the picture. When they're clean and crisp, the whole room looks intentional. When they're scuffed, yellowed, or poorly painted, they drag down even a great wall colour.

We tape, caulk, sand, prime, and paint all trim surfaces — baseboards, door casings, window frames, crown moulding, and chair rails. The caulk step is one most painters skip to save time. We never skip it — it's the difference between a gap-free finish and one that shows every imperfection.

For the topcoat, we use a semi-gloss or gloss alkyd-based paint that wipes clean and holds up to daily scuffs.
