Bedroom Painting in Toronto — One Day, Any Colour
Professional bedroom painting using low-VOC paints, with careful furniture protection and a same-day finish for most rooms.
Your bedroom should feel like a retreat, and the right colour goes a long way toward making that happen. We handle all the prep — moving furniture to the centre, protecting floors and trim, filling any nail holes or scuffs — so by the time we leave, the room looks sharp and you can move everything back the same evening. Most single bedrooms are finished in one day.
We use eggshell and satin finishes almost exclusively in bedrooms. Both clean up easily, hold up to humidity, and give walls a subtle sheen that looks polished without being flashy. Low-VOC formulas are our default on every bedroom job, which means the room is safe to sleep in that night rather than days later. For nurseries and kids' rooms we step up to zero-VOC paints as standard practice.
An accent wall is the most cost-effective way to transform a room without repainting everything. We can guide you through colour selection — which wall reads best as a feature, which tones pair well with your existing furniture — or simply execute the combination you already have in mind. Either way, the result is a bedroom that feels intentional and finished.

Our process
- 1
Quote & colour advice
You send us photos and dimensions through the quote form. We follow up within 24 hours with a written price and, if you want it, a few finish and colour suggestions suited to your room.
- 2
Furniture protection & prep
On the day of the job we move all furniture to the centre of the room, cover it with drop cloths, and tape off trim, ceilings, and outlets. Any holes or surface damage are filled and sanded first.
- 3
Primer coat (where needed)
Going from a dark colour to a lighter one, or over patched areas, we apply a primer coat first — the step that separates a flat, even finish from a streaky one.
- 4
Paint application
Two full coats of your chosen colour, cut in by hand at every edge and rolled for a consistent texture. Accent walls get the same treatment — clean lines, no bleed-through.
- 5
Cleanup & walkthrough
We remove all tape and drop cloths, move the furniture back, and walk the room with you before we leave. Anything that needs a touch-up, we handle on the spot.

- How much does bedroom painting in Toronto typically cost?
- A standard bedroom runs $300 to $550 and a primary bedroom $500 to $800, depending on ceiling height, surface condition, and the number of coats needed. Adding a single accent wall is an extra $150 to $300.
- How soon can I sleep in the room after it is painted?
- With low-VOC paints, the room is safe to sleep in the same evening once the final coat is dry — usually four to six hours after we finish. Zero-VOC paints, which we use in nurseries and kids' rooms, reach that point even faster.
- Do I need to move my furniture before you arrive?
- No. We move everything to the centre of the room and cover it before we start, then put it back before we leave. You don't need to clear the room in advance.
- Which finish is best for bedroom walls?
- Eggshell is the most common choice — it's easy to clean, hides minor imperfections, and has a soft, low-sheen look that suits most bedrooms. Satin is a step shinier and holds up slightly better in high-traffic rooms like kids' rooms.
- Can you paint just one accent wall rather than the whole room?
- Absolutely. A single feature wall is one of our most popular add-ons and a great way to refresh a room without a full repaint. We can advise on which wall works best and which colours pair well with what you already have.
